It's good to see NXP is working on the underpinning technology that will enable my "Karmic Traffic Control" system. With secure car to car communications as well as some type of secure uplink, your car will soon be able to react to your voice 'commands' and mood expressions. So, when some ass hat cuts you off at the rotary even though they clearly don't have the right of way, and clearly know they are cutting you off you only need remember to call out the make or color of the car when you lash out at the driver. Something like "A$$hole yellow jetta" or "Thanks red truck" will trigger the computer in your car to poll the unique identifier of the closest yellow jetta or red truck and send the appropriate "down/up vote" to traffic control. Once a driver has received enough up votes they can expect to encounter more green lights on their way to work each day. Drive nice, drive easy. Drive like an ass hat, hope you enjoy all those red lights.
